Hi everyone out there reading this, just wanted to give a quick update of our line up of some of the bands that will be joining us May 1st and 2nd for the Tiger Rose Tattoos& Music in Santa Maria. So let me know what you think and leave some comments if you follow any of these bands.

As some of you know last year we had like 24 bands playing at the festival "wow", which was great. I dont know how Damien from The Kilz, who help us put the line up together and directed all the bands that weekend managed to stay on schedule and not go crazy trying to get all these bands to play on time. If you follow true punk rock and great tattoo artists, this will be a great place to spend your weekend and its all in Santa Maria.

In no particular order, Pressure Point from Sacramento California they were at Tiger Rose Tattoos and Music last year, and we are super excited to have them out again this year. Band Member include, Mike Erickson- vocals, Kenny Beasley- guitar and vocals, who both formed Pressure Point in 1994, Brandon- guitar and vocals, Nate Duskalos- drums, and Nate Alexander-bass. Pressure Point has played with some of the most notable Punk, Oi!, and Hardcore bands. Lars Frederiksen of Rancid has produced 2 of their full-lengths, their EP, and their 7". Their most recent albums include Get It Right, Resist and Riot, Pressure Point & Madhouse Disciples split cd and Skins and Pinz III. If you have never had the chance to see The Mentors , well here you go Central Coast. Personally, I have never seen The Mentors play and really curious to see them perform. Im not really sure, but they are either playing the afterparty or at the Fairpark. I will update that and let you know as soon I do if they will be doing both.

Okay, so I just found out they are playing our after party Saturday Night at the Santa Maria Inn. So all of you out there this is where the offical after party for the tattoo convention will be the Santa Maria Inn on Broadway.

The Mentors,is a American heavy metal band noted for being one of the most controversial of metal bands of all time, formed in 1976 in Seattle. Known for playing shows with their trademark executioner hoods and bawdy lyrics.The group gained the attention of Mystic Records, through whom they released their first EP, The Trash Bag, in 1982. The group's first live album, Live at the Whiskey/Cathey de Grande, came out the following year. They also released their debut studio LP, You Axed For It!, in 1985. Original band members include-El Duce (Eldon Hoke)R.I.P — drums, lead vocals Sickie Wifebeater (Eric Carlson) — lead guitar Dr. Heathen Scum (Steve Broy) — bass guitar.
